At the Hannover location, the newly founded Institute for Satellite Geodesy and Inertial Sensors is primarily dedicated to research questions related to the use of quantum technologies and quantum sensors. The aim is to develop skills for new types of satellite missions, which are also required for satellite-supported geodesy.
